DUNEDIN COMMUNITY SING

Friday’s community sing will be for the Navv Queen (Miss Jessie McLennan) and the Air Force Queen (Miss Mary Pratt), both of whom will assist with items. Donations and “ cheerios ” may be sent to Mr J. F. Himburg at Begg’s. The proceeds of the sing will be divided between the queen s funds. The sing will be held in the Strand Theatre at noon. Owing to a change in the Daventry news, the sing will be broadcast from 4YA from noon until 1 p.m.. afterwards by 4YO. Special sea and Air Force songs will be sung. A baby s layette (8-piece, white) and a solid leather golf bag will be sold. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be the leader, and Mr Alf. Peltitt the pianist
