GENERAL ORDER

EXEMPTION APPLICATIONS ONE GRANTED AND ONE REFUSED (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 23. Mr Justice Tyndall, in a judgment delivered in the Arbitration Court today, granted the application of the Auckland Transport Board for exemption from the general order of 5 per cent, increase in wages to the employees. The exemption was granted the board because of a bonus of 8 per cent, having been granted by the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr S. Ritchie) prior to the issue by the Arbitration Court ot the general order. In another judgment the Hospital Board's application*for exemption from the general order was refused.
