AMERICAN FLEET
AN UNCONFIRMED REPORT SQUADRON FOR MANILA HONOLULU, Sept. 23. (Received Sept. 29, at 7.30 p.m.) Reports that parts of the United States Fleet have left for Manila are unconfirmed. Apparently the main striking strength is still centred here, although 30 ships, including four battleships, left for San Diego last week for repairs.
