SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT AN INTERESTING COMPETITION The seven-a-side tournament which was held on Saturday under the auspices of the Otago Rugby Union proved a wellorganised and successful affair. The senior games and most of the Second Grade were played at Carisbrook, and all the Third Grade preliminaries at Bathgate Park. All the finals were played at Carisbrook. The matches were watched with- keen, and sometimes amused, interest, by a good crowd of spectators, and the majority of them stayed on till after half-post 5 to watch the final game of the afternoon. This was between the Pirates and University senior teams, the former, who had too much speed for the other sides they met, winning easily by five tries (two converted) to nil.
