Several men and women in the Horowhenua district who have attained the age of 65 years and are drawing the universal pension of £lO a year, increasing by £2 10s yearly until a maximum of £7B is reached, have agreed to pay it to various charitable funds, states the Evening Posts Levin correspondent. There are a number of men and women who are unaware that they are entitled to this pension, irrespective of their income, and charitable institutions would benefit considerably if these people followed the same course.
