DAILY INTERCESSION

THE KING OF KINGS I saw in the night visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of men, and he' came even unto the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And then was given him dominion and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed (Daniel vii: 13-14). Almighty God, Thou has given unto Thy Son the promise of an eternal dominion of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. But we see not yet all things put under Him. We pray Thee, therefore, O God, from Whom all good counsels and all just works do proceed, give unto Thy servants that peace which the world cannot give: that both our hears may be set to obey Thy commandments, and that by Thee, we being defended from our enemies may pass our time in rest and quietness: through the merits of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
