INTEREST-FREE LOANS
TOTAL NOW £2,585,246 (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 27. A further list of interest-free loans and donations to the War Fund acknowledged by Mr Nash, the Minister of Finance, brings the total to £2 585 246. Members of the New Zealand Workers’ Union have forwarded £I2OO as a gift. It was indicated that a further substantial sum would follow in due course.
