THE TEES RENAMED

The steamer Tees, well known in the Chatham Island and coastal trade, has been renamed Holmwood, The vessel was recently purchased from the Westland Shipping Company. Ltd., by a Wellington company. Southern Traders, Ltd., a subsidiary company of Holm and Co., and the practice of naming all the vessels after the name of the company -has been followed. The Holmwood has also been painted the familiar grey, with green funnel, of the Holm Line. The Holmwood is to load at Lyttelton for the Chatham Islands early next month.
