DAILY INTERCESSION

Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer, and hearken unto the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble, I will call upon thee, for Thou wilt answer me (Psalm Ixxxvi: 6-7). We remember before the throne of grace the sick and wounded, the dying and those who fall, all prisoners of war, and all oppressed and distressed, that they may be upheld by Thine erternal love. We commend to Thee their loved ones that, resting in Thy promises, they may be unafraid. We remember also doctors, nurses, Red Cross workers* chaplains, and all who minister to body and soul, that under Thy shelter they may labour, and in the spirit of Christ they may serve: through Jesus Christ our Lord.
