MUSSELBURGH SCHOOL

The monthly meeting of the Musselburgh School Committee was held on Tuesday night, the chairman (Mr W. M. Caddie) presiding. The headmaster reported that attendances during the month had been well maintained. The annual flower show had been held during the month and had been a success, a very gratifying amount having been realised. The Visiting Committee's report was also received. The chairman gave a very interesting report on a visit paid to the North Intermediate School and on the work carried out by the various departments there, the efficiency attained by the pupils attending this school in the various departments being of a very high standard. The suggestion made at the householders' meeting was being given effect to, and prizes would, as usual, be given this year.
