A chimney fire in a house in Musselburgh Rise was attended by the City Fire Brigade at 11.55 a.m. yesterday, and at 5.2 p.m. machines turned out to a five-roomed dwelling at 132 Forth street, where fire in a defective chimney caused slight damage to one wall.
