LIVERPOOL MINE IDLE
DISPUTE OVER PAY TICKETS MEN DECIDE TO GO HOME (Per United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, Sept. 26. The Liverpool mine is idle to-day owing to a dispute in connection with the issue of pay tickets- It is customary to have tickets issued the morning before pay day (to-morrow), but this morning the tickets were not available for the truckers and wages men owing to pressure of work in the mines office. The men neid a stop-work meeting, and decided to go home.
