ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Roslyn and Kaikorai Ratepayers' Association was held last night, the president (Mr P. L. Ritchie) occupying the chair. There was a small attendance of ratepayers. Moving the adoption of the annual report, which laid out. fully the activities of the association during the year, the chairman referred to the roadmaking and widening work that had been carried out in connection with the Taieri aerodrome, and said that the new road to the airport passed through the hill suburbs, making a substantial addition to the many up-to-date amenities of the district. Mr A. Ellis exDressed pleasure at the good progress that had been made during the year,, and hoped that the public would recognise the value of the association. The report was adopted, together with the balance sheet, which showed a substantial credit. The following officers were elected: President. Mr P. L. Ritchie; executive —Messrs A. Ellis. D. O'Connell. Sharpe; secretary and treasurer. Mr C. L. Home; honorary solicitor, Mr G. T. Baylee; auditor, Mr E. Sunderland: trustees, Messrs Bell and Home.
