HONOLULU CUPPER

EXPECTED ARRIVAL TO-DAY PASSENGERS FOR TASMAN SERVICE (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 25. The Honolulu Clipper, of PanAmerican Airways, is scheduled to reach Auckland to-morrow afternoon from Noumea at the conclusion of her flight from San Francisco. The flying boat left Canton Island at 4.36 o’clock this morning, and arrived at Noumea at 5.15 p.m. (both New Zealand times). Captain Barrows is in command. Most of the passengers are bound for Australia, and will leave by the Tasman Empire Airways Service on Saturday morning. They include Mr Keith Officer, Australian Counsellor in Washington, who will go to Tokio after a brief visit to Australia. Other travellers by the Clipper are Mr Victor Jurkens, an American journalist; Mr Walter Rothfield, of Melbourne: Mr Cecil McKay, of Melbourne; Mr Floyd Soto, of Los Angeles; and Mr F. Cordell of California, who joined th« Clipper at Canton Island. The Clipper is expected to leave for Noumea on her way to San Francisco on Saturday morning.
