DAILY INTERCESSION
O God, the proud are risen up against me, and the congregation of violent men have sought after my life, and have not set Thee before them. But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth (Psalm Ixxxvi 1415). We commend our cause unto Thee, beseeching Thee so to purify our hearts and minds, that, what we defend may be in accordance with Thine oion holy and righteous purposes. Grant unto our enemies change of heart, and repentance of all evil. May we put away all feelings of hatred and desire for revenge. Grant 0 God. unto all who plan for the future such high and noble visions that after this struggle Christian decisions shall be made as shall ensure a lasting and. righteous peacethrough Jesus Christ oilt Lord.
