JOINT DEFENCE BOARD
AMERICA AND CANADA SURVEY OF WEST COAST SEATTLE, Sept. 22. The six members of the Canada and United States Joint Defence Board have comDleted a preliminary survey of the West Coast defences from Sitka (Alaska) to the mouth of the Columbia River. Captain Harry Hill, the spokesman, said the board had reached perfect accord on the co-ordination of defences in the event of an emergency.
