HOGUE.—On September 23, 1940. at Dunedin. .Marie Anne, loved infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Len Hogue, 122 Dundas street: aged one day, " Safe iri the arms of Jesus.” KNOX.—On September 23. 1940, at Dunedin, Agnes Brown, beloved wife of the late Duncan Nlcol Knox and loved mother of Muriel Agnes Knox, of 81 Melbourne street: aged 77 years. "At rest.” Private interment. —R. McLean and Son, funeral directors. LEVIDO.—On September 22, at Sydney, Norman Stanley (late of N.Z. Rifle Brigade), eldest son of Edward and Florence Levldo. Sydney (late of Dunedin). BPEIRS.—On September 23. 1940, at Balclutha Hospital, Jane, relict of the late William Spelrs, of Waiwera South; In her ninetieth year.—The Funeral will leave the residence of Mr A. Homan, Waiwera South, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 1940, for the Clinton Cemetery.—Wm. Brown, undertaker.
