WOMEN'S HOCKEY
TRAINING COLLEGE v. MILTON An unofficial hockey match between the Training College and the Milton Ladies' Clubs was played at Logan Park on Saturday. Neither team' was at full strength, and both seemed to show signs of staleness at the beginning "of the game The fast ground led to sdme attractive, open hockey, however, and the'first half was a hard contest, leaving the 'honours even at the score of 1—1: .After the beginning . of the secqnd half, ■ Milton dominated the game and led within 15 minutes of time by ,3—2.* ' In the final stages. College launched some hot attacks and succeeded in scoring three goals in rapid succession to win an evenlycontested game by 5 goals to 3. The game throughout was marked by keen play and freedom from- infringements.- '<■
