FIRE CALLS

Several minor fire calls were responded to by the City Fire Brigade over the week-end. At 10.5 p.m. on Saturday it attended to a chimney fire in Grater street. A fire in a washhouse attached to a dwelling in Goodall street was dealt with at 11.48 yesterday, damage being done- to the building. Last night a call to a gorse fire in the Main North road v/as responded to at 10.33, and at 10.55 a chimney fire was attended to in Filleul street.
