CRISIS IN EGYPT FOUR MINISTERS RESIGN (By Wireless) DAVENTRY, Sept. 22. Four leading Egyptian Cabinet Ministers, the Ministers of Finance Communications and Commerce, and the other without portfolio, all of whom are members of the Saadist Party, have resigned. All strongly advocated the immediate declaration of war against Italy. FRENCH FREE FORCES FIGHTING IN EGYPT (Bv Wireless) DAVENTRY, Sept. 22. It is announced by General de Gaulle that the army and air force of Free France have already been in action against the Italians in Egypt. GERMAN RAIDERS A HOSPITAL HIT (By Wireless) DAVENTRY, Sept. 22. London was again the main target for last night's air raids. One of the few hospitals which had escaped Nazi attention so far was hit, the bomb tearing a hole in the chapel. There were no occupants in this part of the building at. the time, but the gaping hole in the roof and the shattered windows are witness of the latest success against a "military objective." In South London an elderly couple in an Anderson shelter were killed. Experience has proved that these shelters are proof against anything except a direct hit More than 20 villages were bombed in the south-east of England. The bombs were dropped haphazardly and there was little damage.
