WASHINGTON TALKS

WIDE RANGE OF SUBJECTS ißr'itish Official Wireless) RUGBY, Sept. 21. (Received Sept. 22, at 7 p.m.) It. is confirmed in authoritative circles in London that an exchange of views has taken place at Washington between Mr Cordell Hull, Lord Lothian, and Mr R. G. Casey. This covers a wide range of subjects, all of them topics of common interest to the three countries. The talks were not negotiations, and no decisions have been taken or commitments entered into, but it may be anticipated that the three Governments will continue to keep in touch with one another.
