SOUTH OTAGO
BALCLUTHA Hockey A Dunedin club team visited Balclutha on Saturday and on the Sports Ground defeated the Clutha team by two goals to one after a close game. For the winners goals were scored by Misses Sturgeon and Vernon and for the losers by Miss D. Shepherd. Mr R. D. Dineen refereed. Golf In the second round of the men's knock-out competition, played on the Balclutha links on Saturday, the results were:—Thompson beat Fowler, Grace beat Dreaver, Jolly beat R. Guest, Robinson beat Baxter. Fookes beat Sceats, Marshall beat Scott, Mathewson beat Kelly, Dodds beat Angus.
