Although waste cast iron is not included in the list of metals the Government of New Zealand is collecting in its war drive for waste material the Steel Pipe and Engineering Company of New Zealand, Ltd., Wanganui, states that it is .keenly anxious to purchase .supplies of this metal. One school which collected cast iron and sold it to the company made a good deal of money. There is a great deal of waste iron lying about city sections and farms close to Wanganui, and all of it is worth money at the present time.
