SOUTH DUNEDIN SING

The successful season of community singing conducted in South Dunedin is drawing to a close, and the last of the weekly sings will be held on Wednesday. with a grand finale in His Majesty's Theatre on the night of Saturday. October 5. The proceeds from Wednesday's sing are to be set aside Cor soldiers’ parcels, and it is hoped that the generous support already given to this worthy cause will be continued, Mi R McKenzie will control the sing, with Mrs E. D. Cameron at the piano and Mr E, Fish as song leader, and lae assisting artists will be Miss Enid Taylor and Messrs F. Wilson and E. Ottrey. The Sing Committee has been inundated with offers of assistance for the occasion, and among the performers will be some of the clever children who were “ discovered ” in the recent talent tesi>
