“HALLELUJAH CHORUS”

Together with other music, the " Hallelujah Chorus ” will be rendered as part of a song service entitled “ The Humble Potentate,” at the Salvation Army Hall on Sunday evening. A report on the first performance of the famous chorus states: ‘‘The audience was exceedingly struck and affected by the music in general; but when the chorus struck up ‘For the Lord God Omnipotent * in the Halleluiah, they were so transported that thev all, together with the King (who happened to be present) started up and remained standing till the chorus ended.”
