THE OTAGO DISTRICT The meeting of the Otago Education Board yesterday accepted the following resignations of teachers and confirmed new appointments:— Resignations John A. Appointments Bernard J- Jefferson, sole teacher at Te Houka; Harry O, Rosevear, assistant at Balclutha; Evelyn M. Dunne, assistant at Duntroon; Eileen M. Sproule, assistant at Forbury; Kenneth R. Wood , assistant at Mcrnington; Robinson R. McNeill, assistant at North-East Valley: Barbara Sim. assistant at Oamaru North; Murray A. Stevenson, specialist assistant in arts and crafts at the Macandrew Intermediate School. The following war appointments were made:—Joseph F. Urquhart sole teacher at Buscot; Charles A. Baird, sole teacher at Otokia; Catherine D. Rodgers, assistant at Clutha Valley District High School.
