MEETING OF EXECUTIVE Mr J. S. Blackie (vice-president) was In the chair at the monthly meeting of the Taieri Agricultural Society held at Outram. Nineteen members were present. ■ The Otago branch of the New Zealand Fresian Association advised that it was prepared to make a donation for the best registered female bred by exhibitor, provided the entries in the Fresian classes were 12 or more.—Noted. Mr R. L. Graham (Mosgiel) wrote inquiring if a class for Suffolk sheep would be included in this year’s schedule.—lt was decided to include classes for Suffolk and Dorset Horn sheep. The sum of £2 was contributed by the society towards prizes for a stock-judging competition, which will be open to members of young farmers' clubs. Miss I. and Mr R. Reid presented • cup for competition in the light-horse section at the annual show.—Received with thanks. N It was decided to obtain prices from th« local bands for music at the annual show.
