PURCHASE OF AIRCRAFT

A SPLENDID CONTRIBUTION (British Official WL-eless) RUGBY, Sept. 16. Lord Lloyd has asked the High Commissioner for Palestine to convey the warmest thanks to the Government for the splendid contribution of £28,500 from Palestine and Transjordan towards the production of aircraft. " This evidence of the determination of the people of these regions to support the common cause is," the Colonial Secretary added, " most encouraging."
