" WHAT SHALL WE EAT?
TO THE EDITOB Sir, —I was very interested in the talk broadcast last Friday evening by Dr Elizabeth Bryson. in which she enumerated the foods—milk, butter, eggs, sea fish, vegetables, fruit—that, we should all drink and eat for health, but how can the average working man provide his family with sufficient of these' foods at the prices ruling to-day-milk at 7d per'quart, butter at.ls 6d oer lb. eggs at Is 9d per dozen, .fish at lOd per lb, oranges at 2d each? Dr Bryson concluded her talk by saying that the mothers and . fathers " experience a change of heart and put milk at the top of the menu." -I fail to see how a change of heart will, put into the pockets of the .workers sufficient money, with which'to obtain these articles of diet which: are so necessary for health. .Will you, Sir. ,or your readers, please show the way?—l am, etc., Vitamins for AH.
