KATAN RETAINS TITLE (Per United Press association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 16. John Katan retained the British Empire wrestling championship as the result of a match with Earl McCready to-night. The bout was drawn, neilher obtaining a fall. The match was very hard and lawless. At one stage the referee was projected from the ring. Both contestants completely exhausted themselves in vain efforts to force a decision.
