The Lauder Gun Club held a shoot on September 6 for the Caldwell Cup, 27 being present. S. B. Lea.sk was the winner. A five-bird eye-opener was divided by S. Beattie, A. Mcintosh. J Beattie, W. Mcßreen, E. Leith. T. A. Lowis, W Stuart, Doug Leith, D Leask and Allan Brown, who all shot the possible D. Leith won a flrst-mlss-out The following were the best scores in the Cup Match:— S. B Leask (18yds), T A Lowis (14), V. Leith (11), 11 breaks; W Mcßreen (18), John Leith (13). Allan Brown (11) Doug. Leith (13). 10; L. Hayes (22) A Brown (20), S. Beattie (20), J. Beattie (19). G. Mcintosh (13): 9; T. Leith (23). T Clouston (23), A. Mcintosh (19), H Blakely (16), G. Barclay (16). S. Hoskin (14). R. Scorgie (11),-D, Leask (11), 8; E. Leith (15), W. J. Stuart (H). J.
