Reports from Berlin state that the city had a 33-minute air raid alarm last night, and a number of flares were dropped on the outskirts. and Swinemunde, a strongly-fortified city at the mouth of the Oder River, were attacked. A hint that the Germans must expect more intensified raids were given by the German radio which announced that the people would have to put up with shorter radio programmes in future.
