Another Admiralty communique announces that the submarine Phoenix is considerably overdue and must be considered lost. Anti-aircraft fire drove off Italian bombers attempting to attack British’ warships at Alexandria. A few bombs were drSpped, and one man was killed and another injured. No military objective was hit.
