DAILY INTERCESSION
THE FIRM FOUNDATION Jesus said: Everyone that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. - And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock (Matthew, vii: 24-25). Almighty God, Who orders all things, and Who alone givest wisdom and understanding, inspire Thou our King and all to whom Thou hast committed the responsibility o/ Government, and of leadership in active warfare, that planning aright they may not only bring this war to a successful close, but build up a true brotherhood within the nation, and by true counsels of peace a lasting brotherhood among the nations. Set free the captive, we pray Thee, that all peoples may in freedom contribute to the sum of human wellbeing: through Jesus Christ our Lord.
