: Monday, September 9 (Before Mr H.. W. Bundle. S.MJ Drunkenness David Gardner Greenall, who had been convicted for a similar offence within the past six months, was fined 20s for drunkenness, in default 48 hours' imprisonment. ■ .Casting Offensive Matter Sydney Ralph Kent was fined 40s for casting offensive matter in a public place, and on a charge of drunkenness he was convicted and discharged. Maintenance Henry William Osborn was pro ceeded against by his wife, who claimed maintenance for herself and children—After hearing the.complainant's evidence the , magistrate made orders against the defendant, who is. in England, for. £1 a week, with past maintenance £25, in respect of his wife and £ 1 a week, with past maintenance £25 in respect of the children. Costs (£2 2s) were allowed the complainant; John Alexander William Forrester was proceeded against by his wife for disobedience of a maintenance order, the arrears on which amounted to £5 14s 6d.—The defendant was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, the warrant not to be issued provided he paid £l, before September 16 and £1 a week until the arrears were paid. Stanley George Trussier was proceeded against by his wife for maintenance, the magistrate making an order'for' 10s a week. . . , v
