CAPTURED BY THE NAVY

TWO GERMAN SHIPS TRYING TO REACH HOME LONDON, Feb. 19. (Received Feb. 19, at 11.30 p.m.) British warships captured a German steamer, thought to be the Morea (1968 tons), en route from Spain to Germany with manganese ore. They brought her to a west of England port and 30 members of the crew were interned. The Navy captured two of six German ships which tried to dash to Germany from Vigo. The other one captured and taken to port was the Rostock (2542 tons).
