RED CROSS WORK
DONATION FROM RAROTONGA (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Feb. 10. A donation of £250 has been forwarded to the New Zealand Red Cross Society for war purposes from the people of Rarotonga, states the correspondent of the United Press Association. In the Great War the people of the Cook Islands helped the Empire by sending men and money, and they are using every endeavour to assist the Mother Land in the struggle against Nazism. Offers to send men have been received from every island of the group. Committees have been formed at Rarotonga for patriotic purposes, and dances are now being held to raise money,
