MONTHLY SOCIAL Owing to the centennial concert being held next Saturday, the monthly social of the St. Andrew Society wrs held on Saturday evening. Mr A.. Robb (president) occupied the chair, and extended a welcome to all present. The guests‘of the . evening were the members of the Dunedin vHighland Pipe Band. Old'-time and modern dancing was a feature of the evening, while the following contributed to the programme:—Miss P. Davidson, songs; Mr H. Marks, songs; Pipe Band, selections. After the supper interval Pipe Major Crighton and Piper J. McVean played the lament “ The Flowers of the Forest,” in remembrance of Lord Tweedsmuir, the Governor-General of Caq£da>
