Mr E. C. S. Falconer left by the through express on Saturday morning on his way to Auckland. Mr N. R. Mclsaac, chief postmaster, travelled north by the express on Saturday morning, en route to New Plymouth. Sir Percy Sargood returned from Wellington on Saturday afternoon. He was accompanied by Lady Sargood. Mr W. R. Rigg, of the staff of the New Plymouth court office, where he has been for the last six years, has received notice of his transfer on promotion to the Supreme Court office at Timaru. Passengers by the Union Airways liner on Saturday morning were Mr W. G. V. Fernie, Miss E. Ford, Mr C. Collett and Mr C. H. Johnson for Christchurch, Miss P. Coughlan, Miss G. Tosswill. Mrs G. Tosswill, Mr G. Thqmpson, Mr F. Young and Mrs G. P. Aldridge for Wellington. South-bound passengers were Miss E. McDonald from Auckland, Mr G. Prescott and Mr G. J. Barton from Wellington, Group Captain H. W. L. Saunders, Captain J. E. Green and Mr M. C. Tyron from Christchurch. North-bound passengers yesterday were Mr A. L. Ellis for Christchurch, and Group Captain. H. W. L. Saunders for Wellington. South-bound passengers were Mr G. Ellison from Wellington, Mr H. Smillie and Mr W. Reid from Christchufch.
