Saturday, September 16 (Before Mr H. J. Dixon. S.M.) Drunkenness A first offender, charged with drunkenness. was convicted and discharged. Alleged Theft Cuthberi Earl McKeagg, for whom Mr W. H. Carson appeared, was charged with having stolen a ring valued at £2, the property of some person unknown.—On the application of Detective-sergeant Le Sueur, a remand until Friday next was granted, bail being allowed in the accused’s own recognisance of £IOO. conditional on his reporting twice daily to the police.
