The circumference of the larger saw Is 9 3-7 ft, and that of the smaller 6 2-7 ft. In one revolution, any tooth on the larger saw will have travelled 3 l-7ft further than any tooth on the smaller saw in the same space of time, and will therefore have travelled at a faster Tate of speed.
