OPERATIONS AT SEA
TWO ON ATLANTIC LINER LONDON, Sept. 14. The ship's surgeon operated for appendicitis on both the outward and homeward journeys of the liner Queen Mary's latest voyage. The operations were carried out while the liner was speeding at 29 knots, and the conditions were so steady that it was not necessary to slacken down.
