TROPHIES WON BY DUNEDIN SINGER These trophies (with others) were won at the Sydney Eisteddfod last month by Miss Bertha Rawlinson, of Dunedin. The large one in the middle is the Melba Trophy, presented for the champion of champions. This was donated by Dame Clara Butt in memory of Nellie Melba and cannot be won outright. It is held for one year by the successful competitor at the Sydney Eisteddfod. The smaller cups are for the winner of song by an Australian composer and for the Open Championship of Australia. Those are retained by Miss Rawlinson. The trophies are on exhibition at Begg's.
