TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Sept. 12. . The first detachment cf troops for Palestine left Bordon camp early this morning for Southampton to join the Dorsetshire, which sails today with 1700 men, including two units of the 3rd Infantry Brigade, comprising T>3 officers and 1132 men of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers and the Royal Irish Fusiliers. They will be joined at Southampton by the 6th Field Park, 12th and 6th field companies of the Royal Engineers on Monday. The other vessels of the emergency transport fleet, the Laurentie and the Navara, will leave Southampton with the headquarters staff of the first division, some of the smaller units, and half of the 2nd Infantry Brigade. The Laurentie is a fast vessel, and is expected back in Southampton in time to sail again about October 20, probably with the 3rd battalion of the Coldstream Guards and the 2nd battalion of The Buffs to complete the force. ARAB HIGHER COMMITTEE JERUSALEM, Sept. 14. (Received Sept. 15, at 1.30 a.m.) Denying responsibility for the strike and the intimidation thereunder, the Arab Higher Committee will meet on 'September 17 to consider its reply to Sir Arthur Wauchope’s frank talk on Saturday reaffirming Britain’s prior conditions before sterner measures. The committee reiterated that it has no faith in a Royal Commission, and denied that a stopoage of Jewish migration was contrary to the spirit of the mandate. >
