TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA SEND OFF TO M.C.C. TEAM LONDON, Sept. 12. (Received Sept. 13, at 8 p.m.) An enthusiastic crowd wished the M.C.C. cricketers Godspeed when they departed from Waterloo station. Verity was given the wannest send-off. He declared that he was feeling quite fit, but he looked rather jaded. Hundreds of telegrams were delivered before the train steamed out. LEVESON-GOWER’S ELEVEN v. INDIA LONDON, Sept. 11. Leveson-Gower’s eleven, in their second innings, made 32D (Dempster 57). India lost five wickets for 146 m their second innings (Mushtaq Ali 74). The match was drawn. In their first innings India made 333 (Mushtaq Ali 140), and LevesonGower’s team 225.
