MOTOR CAR RECORDS

REMARKABLE PERFORMANCE BONNEVILLE (France), Sept. 12. (Received Sept. 12, at 8 p.m.) Cobb established eight world motor car records to-day on the completion of a 24-hour run over the Serset speedway here. He averaged 150.1629 miles per hour. Seven other records were set during the run. Near the end Cobb almost met disaster. His heavy Napier-Railton skidded on two wheels for a second and a crash appeared inevitable, but he managed to right the machine and continue.
