IN DARK 200 YEARS

Three old timers at Treherbert, Glamorgan, have between them spent more than 200 years in the darkness of the Welsh coal mines. Mr James Thomas, aged 78, started work when he was seven. Mr Thomas Houses, aged 34. worked in the mine for 66 years. Mr William Cossitcr. aged 73. has worked underground for 65 years.
