DISSENSION IN LABOUR PARTY (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept. 12. (Received Sept. 13, at 6.30 p.m.) Representatives of almost 50 unions at a conference in the Trades Hall, Sydney, yesterday demanded a special conference to wipe out the expulsions of leaders movement. The conference pledged itself to do all in its power to end the period of Fascist dictatorship directed by the executive of the State Labour Party. The speakers strongly attacked Mr Lang. LONG-DRAWN-OUT DISPUTE ENDED SYDNEY, Sept. 12. (Received Sept. 13, at 6.30 p.m.) The prolonged controversy in the Presbyterian Church of Australia caused by the theological teachings of Professor S. Angus has now been amicably ended. The General Assembly has adopted a report of the special committee designed to end the discussion, which lias been going on for years, and which was revived onlv recently. NEW SOUTH WALES CITRUS FRUIT SYDNEY, Sept. 12. (Received Sept. 13, at 7.30 p.m.) The Sunday Sun says that the politicians having failed to move New Zealand to reopen the door to citrus fruit from New South Wales, the producers had decided to take a hand to plead their own case. They have sent a delegation of three from the Fruitgrowers’ Federation, who are now on their way to put before the fruit industry the growers’ case for lifting the citrus embargo. The delegation consists of J. Heane, W. M‘Dermott and E. Herrod.
