TAIERI ANGLERS' CLUB
The annual smoke social of the Taieri Anglers' Club was well attended. Mr Turner (president) and Mr Nelson (of the Otago Acclimatisation Society) were present, and there were four visitors from Oamaru representing the North Otago Angling Club and the Waitaki Acclimatisation Society. Mr Turner gave an interesting address on fish culture. A list of appropriate toasts interspersed with musical items filled in a very enjoyable evening.
