OUTSTRIPPING ALL RIVALS. AN AUSTRALIAN. PROPHECY. (Pre*s Association— By Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, January 13. Mr John Brown, a coal magnate, has returned from Germany. He said that in ten years’ time Germany would be industrially supreme. To-day she was outstripping England and her Continental rivals, and by sheer hard work and tenacity the people were forging ahead to a position which would soon place them in command of many of the world’s markets. In a few years from now Germany—an industrial Colossus—would be astride the world.
